Following this as a basic surgical trainee in Orthopaedics at the yorkshire deanery he completed the FRCS in 1998. Furthering his training as a Higher Surgical trainee in Yorkshire from 1998 to 2004 he completed his FRCS in Orthopaedics in 2002 and completed an acclaimed one year fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Reading Shoulder Unit in 2004. TreatmentsMr Venkat provides treatments for complex shoulder problems, impingement, rotator cuff tears, arthritis, cuff tear arthropathy, acromioclavicular joint injuries, shoulder dislocations, frozen shoulders, joint replacement of the shoulder and elbow. He has a special interest in sports injuries of the shoulder and elbow. He regularly provides an one-stop clinic for the patients and uses ultrasound as part of the diagnostic work up.
